My Creative Philosophy I enjoy using colors, textures and both hand and machine embroidery to make my work one-of-a-kind and suited to your vision and theme. Let’s work together to create a family heirloom that will be treasured for years to come. Using batiks, silks, shantungs, quilting materials, beads, metallics, ribbons and trims, I try to give my work a rich texture and dimension.

I like to think that "Every tallis has a story." To me, prayer is an intensely personal experience, and the prayer shawl you wrap yourself in should speak to who you are and why you choose to pray wearing a tallis. Click on “Tallis Stories” to read the stories behind some of the tallit and other projects I have made. The “research” part of these projects brings me as much fulfillment as does the creative part – I learn so much from the Torah readings, commentaries and other background research, and it becomes spiritually meaningful for me. I write the story of each customized piece and include it with the tallis or wallhanging so that others will understand and appreciate the symbolism in the colors and methods I’ve used. |
